It’s a Bag’s Life

It’s a Bag’s Life is a public education campaign that unites Texas retailers, the community, and other businesses around the common goal of promoting the three Rs-reduce, reuse, recycle- so that plastic bags don’t become litter or end up in landfills. It’s a Bag’s Life provides litterbags to the Don’t mess with Texas campaign and asks that all bags be first reused and then responsibly recycled.

A premier destination for both the Don’t mess with Texas Road Tour and tens of thousands of screaming fans, the Vans Warped Tour continues to be one of the most anticipated music events of the summer. Texas Association of Student Councils

The Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC) is a non-profit organization serving high school and middle level student councils in Texas. Its purposes are to develop leadership abilities in students, promote democracy as a way of life, and establish and uphold high standards for local councils. Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) have worked hand-in-hand for more than four decades to make Texas roadways attractive for motorists and encourage tourism. KTB is a key partner in educating young Texans about litter prevention through promotion of the annual Don’t mess with Texas Scholarship Contest, the Don’t mess with Texas Elementary School Art Contest, and the first Don’t mess with Texas Middle School Can Slogan Contest. Litter prevention programs supported by KTB also include TxDOT’s Adopt-A-Highway and the Don’t mess with Texas Trash-Off.
